Health care providers and government officials talked about the quality and timeliness of health care services provided to veterans through the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) health care system. The panelists called for renewed recommendations for the quality and timeliness of health care services provided to veterans through the VA system. Other topics included mental health services for veterans and possible changes to the Veterans Choice Act, set to expire in August 2017.
