Rebecca Adams talked about the number of 18-34 year olds who have signed up for insurance through the Affordable Care Act’s health care exchanges. The Obama administration had wanted 40 percent of enrollees to be younger people in an effort to keep costs lower, but at the time of the program, only about 24 percent of enrollments were in this demographic. Other topics included Obama administration marketing efforts to encourage young people to purchase coverage.

C-SPAN Radio’s Nancy Calo read news headlines at the conclusion of the program. close
