Author Daniel Rolph talked about his book My Brother’s Keeper: Union and Confederate Soldiers' Acts of Mercy During the Civil War, published by Stackpole Books. The book deals with the humanity of the Civil War including stories of soldiers on opposite sides of the battlefield sharing blankets and rations, protecting each other at times, and caring for each other’s fallen soldiers when needed. After his presentation Mr. Rolph answered audience members' questions. close
