Committee members heard testimony concerning the variety of options open to those seeking medical savings accounts. Rep. Archer and others have proposed a bill that would allow an individual $2500 deduction or a $5000 family deduction for a medical savings account which would be used to cover medical expenses not covered by the person’s catastrophic health insurance. close
