Senator Grassley was the first witness. Inspector General Cobb testified, denying some of the complaints against him.
There have been calls for Mr. Cobb’s removal since the publication of a 2007 report from the Integrity Committee of the President’s Council on Integrity and Efficiency. The report showed that NASA Inspector General Robert Cobb had abused his authority, demonstrated a lack of independence from NASA, and not met the criteria for inspector general performance.
