Professor Crawford commented on the book and then Dr. Langsdon talked about his book, Tennessee: A Political History, published by Hillsboro Press. Andrew Jackson, Andrew Johnson, Sam Houston and other personalities from Tennessee are highlighted in the book, which also contains biographical sketches and chronological information on Tennessee’s campaigns and elections. After his prepared remarks, Dr. Langsdon answered questions from the audience.
