Curator Julie Herrada talked about the Joseph A. Labadie Collection, the oldest research collection of radical history in the United States. The collection documents a wide variety of international social protest movements from the nineteenth century to the present. It is named for the anarchist and labor organizer Joseph Antoine Labadie (1850-1933).

C-SPAN’s Local Content Vehicles (LCVs) made a stop in their “2013 LCV Cities Tour” in Ann Arbor, Michigan, from October 21-25 to feature the history and literary life of the community. Working with the Comcast Cable local affiliate, they visited literary and historic sites where local historians, authors, and civic leaders were interviewed. close
