President Obama spoke about the need for comprehensive immigration reform and criticized Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney for opposing the DREAM Act. He received standing ovations from the Latino audience when he spoke about health care reform and when he defended his decision to stop deporting certain undocumented youth.
He made his remarks at the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) annual conference.
