Quinn Bradlee talked about his book A Different Life: Growing Up Learning Disabled and Other Adventures (PublicAffairs; March 30, 2009). Topics included hisdevelopmental and learning disabilities, how he has coped with them, and improvements in treatment.
Quinn Bradlee, son of former Washington Post editor Ben Bradlee and writer Sally Quinn, attended Landmark College, American University, and the New York Film Academy. He has made a series of short documentary films about children with learning disabilities and rare genetic syndromes.
He was interviewed at the 32nd Annual National Press Club Book Fair and Authors' Night, a fundraiser for the Eric Friedheim National Journalism Library held Tuesday, November 17, 2009 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
