Andy Stern and Melody Barnes sat on a stage before an audience. She interviewed him about his book, A Country That Works: Getting America Back on Track, published by Free Press. His union is the fastest-growing union in the U.S. He offered solutions to correct America’s health care system, tax system, retirement system, and education system. He argued that Americans are contending with the most disruptive economic upheaval in the world economy since the Industrial Revolution. After the interview, Mr. Stern also answered questions from members of the audience.
