President Clinton spoke to mayors in Washington, DC for the annual meeting of the U.S. Conference of Mayors. The president talked about his urban initiatives that were laid out in his most recent State of the Union message. President Clinton said it was important to take America’s economic success “to every street and block” in the nation’s cities.
