Two journalists examined the economic downturns in Asia and the international response to them. They examined how these problems will changes economic assumptions, both in the Pacific Rim and in the U.S., and the political challenges of of obtaining congressional support for funds to help Asian nations. After their presentations, they took questions from the audience.
