The authors of Judging Science, and Mr. Malone, debated whether judges or juries should decide what is acceptable scientific evidence in court proceedings. Scientific evidence is often used in court proceedings and can be highly controversial given the little relative knowledge citizens have about science. Following the debate, the panelists answered questions from the audience.
