Mr. Plimpton discussed his book, Truman Capote: In Which Various Friends, Enemies, Acquaintances, and Detractors Recall His Turbulent Career, published by Doubleday. The book is a series of interviews with several friends and associates of Capote, including Katharine Graham, Gore Vidal, William F. Buckley, Jr., Brendan Gill, Lee Radziwill and Arthur Schlesinger, Jr.
