Olivier Todd talked about his new biography of existential novelist

Albert Camus, whose works include The Stranger and The Plague.

The biography traces the evolution of the work of Camus during his

stint as editor at the World War II French Resistance paper Combat

and the battle to “purify” Nazi collaborators. Mr. Todd also talks

about writing the book and the experience of having his work

translated in many different languages. Cyr and Bertrand read portions of the Camus play “The Misunderstanding.” close
