Mrs. Maier talked about her new book, American Scripture: Making the Declaration of Indepedence. She focused particularly on the rough draft of the Declaration of Independence which is currently on display at the Library of Congress and the history of the Declaration of Independence. After her remarks, she took questions from the audience.
