In the culmination of a year long competition, law students argue the case of Price Waterhouse v. Ann B. Hopkins. In the case, decided earlier by the Supreme Court, the accounting firm of Price Waterhouse is accused of violating the Civil Rights Act of 1964 in denying a partnership to Ann Hopkins. Students are judged on advocacy skills, not the case itself, by a panel of judges including Supreme Court Justice O’Connor.
