Bob and Jack Kemp spoke to supporters behind a lectern with the word “Trust” on it. Mr. Kemp called on President Clinton to stop distorting Republican proposals on various issues. In his remarks, Mr. Dole focused on his economic proposal and President Clinton’s ethics, as well as issues of special interest to Californians, including immigration and drugs.
