The National Women’s Political Caucus celebrated its 25th anniversary with a gala dinner. Founders of the organization were honored. The speakers talked about the influence of NWPC on their lives and the increasing power of women at all levels of government. Ms. Ferraro, who was the 1984 Democratic vice presidential candidate, talked about women’s accomplishments and the probability of a woman soon running for president.
