Professor Goldhagen talked about his new book, [Hitler’s Willing
Executioners: Ordinary Germans and the Holocaust], which argues that
many more German citizens were involved in the Holocaust than
previously thought. In it, he also argues that they participated due
to their belief in an “eliminationist” anti-Semitism and criticzed
others who have advocated social-psychological and other
explanations. After his remarks, he took questions from the
audience.
