Committee members heard continuing testimony on the criminal investigations into the Madison Guaranty Savings and Loan. In this portion, Department of Justice officials testified about the referrals they received from RTC officials concerning the agency's investigation into Madison Guaranty. Chairman D'Amato also announced that the committee would vote tomorrow on whether subpoena documents relating to a November 5, 1993 meeting between administration lawyers and officials.
