Panelists discussed how U.S. history should be taught at the elementary, secondary and university levels. They discussed such issues as the role of multiculturalism and political correctness. They also discussed how the present changes the focus of historical scholarship. They also talked about the uniqueness and importance of American history. After their discussion, they also took questions from the audience.
