President Clinton welcomed representatives from the small business community to the White House South Lawn for a discussion on health care reform. Specific topics included universal coverage, cost control, and Senator Dole’s alternative health care plan.
Following introductions by Mr. Bowles, the first lady, and a small business owner, the president spoke about health care reform and the effect the Dole alternative plan will have on small businesses.
