During a peaceful protest outside the White House, three members of the U.S. House of Representatives, including Representative Maxine Waters, were arrested for unlawful assembly and taken to a local Washington jail to post bond. The members were protesting the U.S. policy toward Haitian refugees. The members did not speak to reporters. close
