Former Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court Warren Burger spoke about the life of former President Richard Milhous Nixon. Justice Burger was first appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court by President Nixon in May of 1969. Five years later, Justice Burger wrote the majority opinion in the 8-0 decision requiring President Nixon to turn over taped conversations that, in effect, proved his collaboration in the Watergate coverup. The chief justice first met then Representative Nixon during his involvement in the Alger Hiss Case.
