U.S. Supreme Court Justice Harry Blackmun met with reporters in the Supreme Court West Conference Room to discuss his retirement from the bench. The justice took quesitons for about 15 minutes. Justice Blackmun was named to the court by President Nixon in 1970. He authored the landmark Roe vs. Wade decision.
