In separate interviews, journalists and judicial experts talked about the 1991 experiment in televising civil trials in two courts of appeals and six district courts. No criminal cases were included. A clip from one of these was aired. Also shown were video clips of U.S. Supreme Court Justices expressing opinions on the televising of courtroom proceedings.
