Senator Wallop announced that he will not run for re-election when his current term ends. He will serve for the remainder of his current term which ends in January of 1995. Senator Wallop stated that he would have run for re-election had the voters of Wyoming not voted overwhelmingly for term limits in the 1992 election. He refused to speculate about his possible political future.
