Two veteran Voice of America journalists talked about their coverage on the ground during the recent general elections in Kenya. Panelists agreed the overall election was seen as positive and much more efficient than in previous elections. Other topics included campaign financing, women representation in parliament, the youth vote, and the opposition leader’s court case claiming the election results were hacked. Kenya’s ambassador to the U.S. was also in attendance and asked the panelists a few questions later in the program. close
