Harjit Sajjan, Canada’s national defense minister, spoke about cooperation with the U.S. in modernizing the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). He also talked about other defense priorities, including NATO and United Nations peacekeeping operations. Following his prepared remarks, Mr. Sajjan answered questions from the Wilson Center’s Laura Dawson and members of the audience. Wilson Center President Jane Harman made opening remarks. close
