Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry talked about his nation’s strategic partnership with the U.S., eradicating sectarianism, and his country’s vision for restoring peace and stability to the region. After his remarks he was interviewed by Martin Indyk, a former U.S. ambassador to Israeli who was now with the Brookings Institution, and responded to questions from members of the audience.

This was a keynote address of the 13th annual Saban Forum on U.S.-Israel relations, titled “Challenges for the Trump Administration in the Middle East.” close
