She called on her Democratic colleagues to resist as Republicans prepared to take control of both chambers of Congress, saying, “the majority of voters supported Democratic Senate candidates over Republican ones, and the majority supported a Democratic presidential candidate over a Republican one.” She also argued against the 21st Century Cures Act, which she said reflected the agenda of the pharmaceutical industry. close
