Democratic vice-presidential nominee Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA) delivered a national security address at the Hannah S. Block Historic USO Building in Wilmington, North Carolina. He contrasted the foreign policy views of presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump on a range of issues including the Middle East, combating ISIL*, Russia, and immigration. In addition, Senator Kaine harshly criticized Mr. Trump saying the U.S. would be far less safe under his leadership, and that Mr. Trump’s disrespect for the military “absolutely infuriates” him as a military father.
