Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, a candidate for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination, spoke at the Democratic National Committee Women’s Leadership Forum Annual Issues Conference at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, D.C. She talked about the importance of women in politics and her goals for America if elected. Topics focused on issues of importance to women, including equal pay, gun control, and public health and education. She also lauded Vice President Joe Biden who had announced his political plans earlier in the week. She spoke about the House select Benghazi Committee hearing at which she testified the previous day, calling it a Republicans “partisan witch hunt.” close
