Author John Price talked about his anthology The Tallgrass Prairie Reader. In the early 19th Century, the tallgrass prairie stretched from Texas all the way to Canada, but less than four percent of it remains in 2015. John Price hopes to inspire people to see the prairie as some of the great writers such as Walt Whitman and Willa Cather of the time did. John Price argues that the prairie has its own unique beauty and deserves the same protection consideration as forests and mountain ranges.
