President Obama made remarks to reporters outlining the administration’s agenda before a meeting with his Cabinet at the White House. He said the U.S. would continue to pursue strong trade agreements and thanked the Senate for taking action on his trade agenda. Topics included fast-track trade promotion authority legislation, the economy, nuclear talks with Iran, and *ISIL. New cabinet members Defense Secretary Ashton Carter and Attorney General Loretta Lynch were welcomed.
