Senators debated H.R. 1191, a bill that would require President Obama to submit any nuclear agreement with Iran to Congress for review.

Senator Dan Coats (R-IN) talked about why he was grudgingly supporting the bill while laying out his objections with the current deal framework.

Later, after speaking on other topics, Senator Chris Coons (D-DE) warned his Republican colleagues that he would vote against any final version of the bill that contained “poison-pill” amendments.

Between their remarks Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD) had been speaking on other matters. He was shown introducing Senator Coons' remarks. close
