House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) spoke about the budget and the economy. Following her prepared remarks, Leader Pelosi answered questions from moderator E.J. Dionne and members of the audience. She outlined initiatives to help the middle class and working families and talked about the importance of investing in research, education, and infrastructure. Other topics included about President Obama’s fiscal year 2016 budget proposal, funding the Homeland Security Department, and vaccinating children.
