In the Canadian House of Commons, members asked cabinet ministers about the government’s measure calling for airstrikes against ISIS* in Iraq. This “Question Period” session came shortly after Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s announcement on those measures. The Conservative majority argued in support of the action, while the opposition party argued against it. Cabinet members also answered questions about Canada’s involvement in the Ukraine-Russia situation, and other domestic affairs of concern.
