White House cybersecurity adviser Eric Greenwald talked about efforts to educate the public and businesses on ways to better secure their computer systems and share information. He discussed the point-of-sale breach at Target stores, stating that most breaches were from “unsophisticated threats” originating from a known vulnerability or out-of-date system. Following his remarks, he answered several questions from the audience.

“National Security Strategy for 2014” was the luncheon speech of the Ninth Annual Homeland Security Law Institute held by the American Bar Association Section of Administrative Law and Regulatory Practice at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center August 21-22, 2014. The event was co-sponsored by several other ABA entities. close
