Andrew Demeter’s We the People, Genetically Modified? was the high school Central Division first prize-winner in C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam video documentary contest. He was a 10th grader at Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin in Chardon, Ohio.
C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam video documentary contest is an annual national competition in which middle and high school students produce a documentary on a specific theme. In the 2014 contest, participants were asked, “What’s the most important issue Congress should consider in 2014?”
