Governor Pat McCrory (R-NC) talked about some of the challenges facing his state, such as economic development, energy, education, and Medicaid, and his legislative initiatives to address them. Regarding his his decision not to expand Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act, he called it one of the most difficult issues facing governors. He also criticized the recent operational problems facing ederal health care law as well as the federal lawsuit against his state’s voter identification law. close
