Anthony Carnevale talked about an Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development study on literacy and basic math skills among adults 16-25 in 23 countries, and he responded to telephone calls and electronic communications. Mr. Carnavale said that while in the past generally only upper management needed critical thinking, problem-solving, and other higher level skills, the modern economy requires these skills from most workers. close
