Marine Corps Commandant General James Amos talked about the future of the Marine Corps. After his remarks he was interviewed by Mr. O’Hanlon and responded to questions from members of the audience. He discussed the impact of general budget cuts as well as of sequestration on the corps and future strategy including force structure, weapons modernization plans, and overseas basing. Other topics included the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan and embassy security. close
