Businessman George W. Bush, son of the president, spoke from the Houstonian hotel on the 1992 presidential race and the upcoming Republican National Convention. Mr. Bush is a managing general partner of the Texas Rangers baseball team. Preceding his remarks, convention designer Bob Keene describing the design and construction of the speakers platform for the convention in the Astrodome.
