General Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joints Chief of Staff, offered his thoughts on future developments in Persian Gulf. He spoke at the Center for Strategic and Internations Studies Gulf roundtable luncheon.
General Dempsey spent considerable time in the Persian Gulf region. He served in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, training and advising the Saudi Arabian National Guard and he served two terms in Iraq before becoming acting Commander of the U.S. Central Command.
