Highlights following the election by the Conclave of Cardinals of Archbishop Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Argentina to be the next pope included scenes of the crowds cheering the white smoke as bells rang and the newly-named Pope Francis blessing the crowd in St. Peter’s Square and a portion of his prayer in Italian.
