United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon spoke at the Council on Foreign Relations about several international disputes, including North Korea’s nuclear tests and the Arab-Israeli conflict. He urged Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad to agree to peace talks with the opposition. He also addressed criticism of the U.N. and spoke about the threat of climate change. After his remarks he was interviewed by Christiane Amanpour and responded to questions from members of the audience.
