The Senate convened for a period of morning business. Thereafter, members began consideration of H.R. 1, which was to serve as the vehicle for the Emergency Supplemental Appropriations Bill.
At 5 p.m., the Senate turned to executive session to consider the nominations of Fernando Olguin to be a U.S. District Court judge for the Central District of California; and Thomas Durkin to be a U.S. District Court judge for the Northern District of Illinois.
*At 5:30pm, the Senate will take a roll call vote on the Olguin nomination.
