Senator Ben Nelson (D-NE), who was retiring at the close of the 112th Congress, reflected on his 12 years in the Senate. Topics included the importance of compromising and his work as a member of the “Gang of 14,” a bi-partisan group of Senators who in 2005 successfully negotiated a deal on approving judicial nominations.
